It really feels awesome when you have slugged it out in a 45 day long saga that included staying up late , getting up early, No play, all work….I’m talking about our final examinations. I really dont understand why the PU guys make us crawl on our a$$e$ just to let us pass….AND (I’m doing my grad in Comp. Sc. ) why these a$$****$ include physics and maths in our syllabus, jab hamein yeh dono kabhi kaam hi nahin aayenge….
I know i have been a little sloppy in making entris here, but thing will definitely change from now on…..ciao

PECfest 2007 is going on ! Although i dont study in PEC, but still, we went there to participate in some events, and we were really awestruck ! The way in which they had planned it all, had to be commended. A really fine job. and its only the first day of the fest. Two more jam packed days to go !
Okay, now coming back to what this blog is all about, the website

Ohhkay people…its time for the weekly update….but this time its more like a shock and awe update….you’ll find out how, later in this post !
The week started with the general hullabaloo over the fees thingie…..every year, we have to pay our fees in, like, 5 installments. Why the hell doesn’t the PU administration take it all at once ? Why put us all to this much discomfort ? okay ! I get what you’re thinking…this is not my personal blog. This is a behind the sce…. Blah blah blah…. Related to the fees, there was a person on the forums, from some deptt. (I don’t remember which) , he proposed the computerized fee thing to the PU administration through the site…..so, that’s one thing for which you should be thankful towards stu-c.com lollzzz… joking yaar !
The day was 10th of January, 2007. There’s a cool guy by the name of Dr. Gaurav, who runs an NGO, named HumLog…..we have organized quite a few things with him, and have many more plans…. He had organized a street play in sector 17, on the issue of prevention of HIV-AIDS….so, we got thinking of getting something like this done here at stu-c, so that kuchh PU ki janta ka bhi fayda ho jaaye ! So, it was decided to be held on 10th at 1 p.m. Then at 10 in the morning on the same day, that Dr. Gaurav told us about a seminar going on in the Hindi deptt. on the same issue. So we thought ki un logon ko bhi invite kar liya jaaye, ‘cuz the theme is the same, and this play would prove as a refreshment after the long and borrring talk ! So, we went to the hindi deptt. to talk to the guys and we had to wait for 2 hours before we could talk to the concerned persons. All set, the play was held and what a sight it was ! Normally, just because of the social taboo associated with this topic, almost everyone shies away from these things, but this time, we were stunned to see such a large gathering , and the majority comprised of girls !
Now, about the shock – SOPU party had planned to make official sweatshirts for the whole of P.U. and we were to publicize their sweatshirt on the web through our site. We did just that and got around 200 orders, more than 15 from the US alone. It was planned that they (sopu people) would tell us when the shirts got made and then we’d further tell the interested people….We called everyone just to confirm that the orders were not fake, all on our own expense. And then look at the moronic attitude of someone I’d not like to name, he just fu***g didn’t tell us when the shirts got made. People were wearing them, and we were waiting for them to be made….and when I asked him what the matter was, and why didn’t you tell us, he just simply said “ aisa hi hota hai “ f*****g moron ! Now, we are not into the scene anywhere. Any interested buyer, please contact sopu people for further sir-khapai….We are out of this deal completely.
And then there’s the awe. PUCSC organized a two day Lohri bash in the campus. 11th ko there was a DJ in front of law audi, along with some games and competitions, and on the 12th, there was just a DJ at stu-c….now comes the awe…..GIRLS ! lots of them !! Yaar..i feel so sad when I look at such pretty damsels rocking away….Saali kismat hi kharaab hai…There were so many girls, that it was hard to look at one without looking at another Everyone was dancing as if there was no tomorrow….all in all, it was a fun week, with some additional feathers adding up to our hat.
Most probably, there’ll be a very good news for someone from stu-c.com in the near future….keep on reading, and you’ll find out what !

1. Amit Sharma
Position : Creative head [actually only his head is creative, his ideas are generally creative towards the s-e-x side of life ]

My UNBIASED thoughts about him : (see, I have written unbiased in bold CAPITALS, take the hint…) He is the creative head alrite… kabhi kabhi sochta bhi leta hai… most of our posters have come from his head only. And many ideas also. like MP3 player ka idea usney hi diya tha shayad…pakka nahin. Yaad hi nahin rehta ! Aur our famous sign of the youth, our haathon wala logo ! You know what i mean ! he he he…iska hi idea tha, toh agar kisi ko koi gila shikva hai, toh isi ke naam ki supaari dena…baakiyon ko baksh dena
2. Ankit Aggarwal

My thoughts about him : Saala genius hai….thats what he is, really … actually, site ka idea hi isko aaya tha shuru mein… aur almost 70 % kaam isi akele ney kiya hai… from the gallery to forums, to almost everything….sabhi iskay hi ideas hain… par beech beech mein jab site pe log aaney kam ho jaatey hain, tab yeh bahut asani sey haar maan jaata hai…aur fir jaisey hi visitors vapis aaney shuru ho jaatey hain, fir sey shuru ho jaata hai….
3. Kunal Gulati
Position : I dont have a clear idea, but he’s kinda the site mascot/site promoter/PR guy/site reporter all combined in one !

4. Narender Singh Thakur [N.S.T. > as everyone calls him ]
